We are seeking a Business Development Executive to develop and execute strategies, products and services to increase revenue and profits. As a Business Development Executive, you will be at the forefront of our growth initiatives, driving revenue and expanding our market presence. This dynamic role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in generating new business opportunities. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, nurturing, and closing deals that contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify profitable business opportunities, secure sound business partners and deals, and lead business development efforts within the company working closely with technology and process development partners
- Partake in the development of annual business plans and budgets
- Ensure effective execution of agreed objectives to be achieved
- Identify and configure new opportunities by developing or adapting products/services that address customers’ needs across different market segments
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to generate extensive market and competitive knowledge
- Manages sales and customer engagements, prepares sales performance reports, analyse and evaluate performance reports with partners and determine with parrtners, specific actions directly related to business development
- Establish effective relationships with customers and partners to ensure revenue assurance and for market intelligence purposes
- Increase our customer Base, maintain customer loyalty and build effective customer relationships
- Ensure self-development with relevant training and development support to increase market knowledge, product/service requirements, service standards and boost profitability
- Ensure customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met at the very minimum by applying proper coordination skills across all stakeholder points
- Develop an intuitive understanding of existing and target consumer attitudes, behaviours and trends using a variety of sources such as market research, trends, analysis, observation etc. and leverage understanding to drive brand growth in volume & equity
- Conduct brand research and assesses customer perception of brand vis-à-vis competition
- Liaise with legal and compliance personnel to ensure the brands are registered for trademark and intellectual property rights where necessary and that this value is understood.
- Plan and manage public events (road shows, product launches, customer fora etc.) and conducts post evaluation and reporting
- Coordinate the production of corporate gift & promotional items
- Ensure brand uniformity and consistency across all media channels
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant fields.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and CRM Software
- Skilled in budget preparation and management
- Proficiency in the conduction of qualitative and quantitative analysis for business growth.
- Entrepreneural and Business acumen
- Ability to conduct effective market research and derive useful insights from it.
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
